Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a third-party search tool is sent to the provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies any results. We do not retain or log the search terms on our own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained to respond to the message. It is kept within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, server and analytics systems may receive technical details about the visit, including:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They can help us understand aggregate traffic, such as pages that receive visits and navigation patterns. Browser controls can block cookies, although portions of the resource may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating, securing, and improving the resource
- Routing a search request to the relevant partner service
- Understanding aggregate use of the pages
- Diagnosing technical performance problems
- Delivering advertising that may be interest-based
No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, keep, assemble, or sell a court-docket or personal-case-record database. It provides general information about Harding County District and Magistrate court channels, New Mexico Courts Case Lookup, and clerk requests. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information entered in those tools is governed by the provider’s own privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. Review that provider’s policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links can lead to court clerks, New Mexico Judiciary portals, statewide case-search tools, and outside services. Once a link takes you away from this resource, the other organization’s privacy policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
Some advertising partners may track activity across sites for ad delivery. That tracking is managed on their systems rather than ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be seen by:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
We use reasonable security practices for information we collect. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed completely secure, so no assurance can be made that an incident will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If a minor’s information was provided, contact us so it can be addressed.
Your Data Rights
Applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. For court-record access, New Mexico Rule 1-079 and the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 14-2-1 et seq., govern access to official records held by the judiciary, not this private resource. At a minimum, you can:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy. A revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
